Being an international student in Australia who also works part time is not easy. There are several issues at work that will probably create disrpution at school / college. Here are the effective measures that can help you to manage your time between work and study in Australia:

  1. Provide schedule of your classes for managers in your workplace so that your manager can adjust your working hours.

  2. Organise your time to avoid delays in the work place. For example, if you leave school at 4pm, you should at least start the shift at 6pm or 7pm, so you will have time to prepare everything necessary for work and rest.

  3. When you have adequate rest time at work, maximise by reading and reviewing your study notes that have been given before from campus.

  4. Make sure that you understand all of your subjects so you do not need to review the topics that have been discussed previously by your lecturer.

  5. If you have spare time in college or have time available in class, you can use the time to rest early after leaving the job.

  6. When you have something to do, for example, there is an additional class of unexpected or even when you want to relax with friends or have a group assignment or projects, you must inform your manager of the place you work so he can rearrange your working hours.
